    Our data was gathered from Clogher RC Parish records, the Tithe Applotment of 1829, Griffiths Valuation of 1860, Irish civil records, Census, British Newspaper Archives, PRONI wills, and Irish genealogy websites. Original documents can be found by accessing those records.

     These maps show the location of Moyna and Moynagh families at the time of the Tithe Applotment of 1829 and the Griffiths Valuation of 1860.

     We will remain forever grateful to Bill Compton, a descendant of James Moyna of Augher. Bill patiently researched and pinpointed the exact location of the lands each Moyna family occupied in 1860. This website is dedicated to his memory.
